The Numbers Lotto Draw held on 26th June 2017 were 24-7-17-10 Bonus 22. There was no Jackpot winner and the €20 winners were Thomas O’Brien C/O Martin Brady,Pat Hamilton,Belfast,Emmet Monaghan,Carrickaldra,Tom Sullivan,Mullinault,Maura Quinn,Aughnamullen.

U12’s Our U12 had another great Game and won out convincing winners Latton 9-07- Seans 3-.08.Nest up are Donaghmoyne away on Monday 3rd July at 7.00pm.
U16’s
Our U16’s have a fixture this evening 29th June @7.30 away to Clan Na Gael.

Sunday 2nd July we play Donaghmoyne at home at 2.00pm.
Seniors
Our Seniors unbeaten run came to an end last Wednesday against Monaghan Harps where they were defeated on scoreline of Latton 2-10 – Monaghan Harps 2-13.Next up is Scotstown at home on Wednesday 5th July at 8.00pm.
Minors
Fixtures Resume with home game v Emyvale at 7.30pm on Tuesday 4th July .
Feile Competitions 23rd -25th June 2017
John West Feile Peil Na nOg 2017 – Latton O’Rahilly GAA last weekend hosted Clonfarf G.A.A. Club and San Francisco G.A.A.. The Boys played 2 games on Friday evening and put up a good display but were defeated in both games . They then played in Quarter Final of Shield in Cloghan against Ballyhaise on Saturday. A great game by the boys in which the lead changed hands several times . Ballyhaise ran out winners on Scoreline of Latton 2-05- Ballyhaise 4-04. On Saturday evening we Hosted Clontaft & San Francisco in our GAA Centre – A truly memorable and enjoyable night was had and new friendships were made with both Kids & Adults.
Latton also hosted some great Division 5 games on Sunday and we sincerely thank all who helped out on Sunday.
Well done to all involved with Feile-The Committee,Host Families,Ladies who worked our Kitchens, Groundmen and any one else who helped out in any way. We want to congratulate our U14 Panel for their great displays in hosting the Clontaft lads and making them feel so at home . PRIDE OF PLACE-
Latton/Bawn have been selected by Monaghan County Council as Monaghan’s Pride of Place repesentitives for 2017,a great honour and recognition of the great community voluntary spirit of the
area,especially in the Centenary Year of Latton O’Rahilly GAA,judging takes place on Tuesday 25th July from 10.00am to 1.00pm,this is an opportunity to show what is best in Latton/Bawn,it is planned the judging will commence at Derrygooney Community Centre,with the judges travelling via the Senator Billy Fox Memorial Park,Bawn Handball Club,Lacken Bridge and Fivecrosses for a display and presentation at Latton O’Rahilly GAA Centre,so everyone and organisation in the parish,along the route and at the venues are urged to have everything looking its best for the day,have everthing tidy,hedges and grass trimmed,plants and flowers in place,this is a BIG DAY for LATTON/BAWN,lets be at our best-its your place.

As the Latton O’Rahilly Club continue the Celebrations of their Centenary,work continues on The Museum of G.A.A. archival and historical materials,anyone with photographs,newspaper articles or any materials connected to Gaelic activities in the Latton/Bawn Area are requested to bring them to the G.A.A. Centre on any MONDAY,between 10.00am and 12.30pm,where the materials will be scanned and returned immediately,if you know of any materials relating football,hurling,camogie,ladies football,handball,scor etc,please contact Patrick Hamilton on 086-2686619 or Seamus Coyle on 087-6814067 or call to the GAA Centre on MONDAYS between 10am and 12.30pm.. Centre to launch his latest Music Video,much of which was recorded in the Latton area,doors open 9.00pm,a wonderful night is guaranteed,so Friday 21st July,Latton’s the place to be!.
