Monaghan Electrical IFL: Brilliant win for our Senior men last Friday in Round 7 of the IFL scoring 3-11 to 0-12 when they travelled to Doohamlet! We were a point down at half time but everything changed in the second half with scores from Ronan McNally, Shane Treanor, Dermot Coyle, Johnny McKenna! Next game is against Corduff on Wednesday (21st) at home at 8pm. Hope to see lots of support!!
Gerry’s Prepared Veg:
U14: Our U14s travel to Killanny on Saturday at 12.00 for their next league game.
U12: The U12 mixed team travel to Oram next Tuesday (20th) for a 7.30 throw in.
U10s: Well done to our U10s who travelled to Dundalk last Saturday to play in the Geraldines tournament. They played seriously impressive football and reached the semi final after topping their group. Navan were the club to knock them out after a tough game with extra time and penalties! Maith sibh! There will be a blitz this Saturday in Donaghmoyne from 10 – 12. More info on the Whatsapp group!
Juveniles:
Despite the torrential downpours earlier in the day, the sun managed to make an appearance and shine down on our U10/U8 blitz last Thursday! Monaghan Harps and Killeevan travelled to St. Patricks park to join us in a brilliant evening of football!
Training continues as usual with the next blitz taking place on 1st July in Cloghan.
Ladies:
Seniors: Our Senior ladies are back in action when they travel to Killeevan next Thusday 22nd for a 7.30 throw in.
U16: Our U16 lassies head to Aghabog on Monday (19th) at 7pm.
U14: Well done to our U14 group who had a massive win against Inniskeen last Monday
night. Go girls!!!
U12: Our U12 girls are at home against Truagh this Sunday morning at 12.00.
Please support our ladies teams!
County: Well done to Karl O’Connel and the Monaghan team last Sunday when they defeated Cavan in the Quarter Final.
Féile: The big countdown is on … we will be welcoming our travelling teams from Belfast and Dublin next Friday. Be sure to come along as there will be plenty of football over the course of the weekend and we are still happy to receive any offers of help too!
Féile Meeting: There will be a very important meeting for all host parents of the féile children in the centre this Monday at 8pm. It is very important that everyone attends.
RACE NIGHT: Due to circumstances beyond our control we were unable to run our Race night last Saturday. Many thanks to everyone who showed up to support it and we hope to see you all again next Saturday night when we will pick up where we left off. First race at 9.30….see you all there!!!!
Cumann na mBunscoil: Comhgairdeas to Scoil Bhríde Girls team who were in the County finals in Castleblayney last Friday. They were unfortunately defeated by one single point but played with great passion and determination. Well done all!
Summer Camp 2017: Our Summer camp this year will be held on Wed 9th til Fri 11th August. There is a meeting tonight (Thursday) at 9pm for anyone who would like to help out this year or you can contact Paddy on 087 2231310.
