TOP 4 LOTTO
Our TOP 4 LOTTO jackpot now stands at €2300 after there was no winner of Monday nights draw. The numbers drawn were 04,07,19,21. Feile Na Nog
It’s a big weekend for our U14 team as they take part in the Feile Na Nog which gets underway tomorrow (Friday). We travel down to Donagh in Co. Fermanagh, to meet the host club at 4pm and that will be followed at 6pm with a game against Clann Na Banna who hail from Co. Down.
Saturday will be an exciting day for the club as we go up against Grangenolvin from Co Kildare, the club we are hosting for the weekend, with the players and the mentors staying with families in the area. The match on Saturday morning throws in at 10:30 with the quarter finals of the competition been held on Saturday evening in Ballybay. Best of luck to the players and management team and lets see plenty of support out for the team.
Action on the field
Well done to the Reserve team who recorded a victory over Monaghan Harps in the league, the senior side were also back in action on Wednesday evening with an away trip to Oram. The U12’s were also in action during the week with Eire Og been the visitors to Pairc Mhuire. The U16’s return to action Monday evening the 26th when they take on Sean Mc Dermotts in their rescheduled league fixture at 7:30 in Threemilehouse.
Ulster Championship
Best of Luck to the Monaghan team as they take on Down in the Ulster senior championship semi final on Saturday evening at the Athletic grounds at 7pm.
Crawley Cup Final
Congratulations to Sean Mc Dermotts who retained the Reserve championship Crawley cup on Saturday evening past with a victory over Ballybay at Pairc Mhuire. The club was honoured to host the final and say a big thank you to all the stewards and club members that helped out on the evening. Special mention must go to Nicole Brannigan for her beautiful version of Ambhran Na Bhfainn
Cup Camp 2017
Registrations are now been taken for the 2017 Kelloggs Cul Camps which will be held in July. An “Early Bird Competition” is currently been held with all those who register before Friday the 23rd, going into a draw with a number of prizes up for grabs. More details on the Monaghan GAA website
