Reserves: A busy weekend of Platinum Tanks Reserve Football League action started when we hosted Scotstown in Division 1A last Friday. We faced a narrow deficit for long spells of this game, despite Conor Forde finding the net midway through the second half. We were still within striking distance late on, but Scotstown hit the last couple of scores to run out 2-12 to 1-9 winners.

We then played at home to Éire Óg in Division 2B on Sunday. A Thomas Croarkin goal had us within a point at half-time and when Thomas found the net again after the restart, we held a narrow lead, only for Éire Óg to take charge with a run of unanswered points. We battled back, but ended up falling short on a scoreline of 2-6 to 1-13.
