RESULTS
Last Saturday morning, Magheracloone hosted an U10 Go Games Blitz. The Blitz was attended by Corduff, Inniskeen and Aughnamullen. In all, 8 teams took part in what was a very entertaining morning of football. Both Magheracloone teams played superbly throughout. Special thanks to all the coaches and referees who assistedon the day and also the parents for their support.
COUNTY FOOTBALL
Best of luck to Gavin Doogan and the Monaghan senior team who take on Down on Saturday evening in the ATHLETIC GROUNDS IN ARMAGH AT 7PM in the semi-final of the Ulster Championship.
BBQ
Magheracloone Mitchells fundraising steak BBQ on July 08th are now on sale. Music by the Fuzzy Burgers, followed by a DJ. This promises to be a great night entertainment. Please contact any member of the Executive Committee for tickets. Also keep Sunday 9th free from 3pm to 5pm for our children’s disco and BBQ.
LADIES NOTES
Our U12 Tigers were defeated by Corduff on Sunday morning in RD 2 of the league. The U12 Lions played Stabannon on Friday evening last and came out worthy winners.
The U10’s will train Tuesday evening at 7pm
Wednesday (21st) at 6pm the U12 Tigers play Carrickmacross in Carrickmacross (Donaghmoyne Rd)

The U14’s played Stabannon at home on Tuesday night. Match details next week.
Our U16’s travelled to Tyholland on Monday last and in what was a very sporting game throughout ending with a 1 point difference in favour of Tyholland.
Senior and minor training Tuesday and Thursday evening at 8:15pm. The seniors are due to travel to play to play O’Neill Shamrock’s on Sunday evening at 7pm.
All roads lead to the football field this weekend as Magheracloone men and ladies’ welcome Na Gaeil CLG of Tralee, Co. Kerry and Mhor Naomh Colmeille CLG from Co. Tyrone for Feile Peil na nÓg. This is a wonderful opportunity for our kids, so let’s hope the sun continues to shine so they can make the most of the weekend. Best of luck to everyone involved. Games commence at 3pm on Friday evening.
