John West Féile Peile na nÓg – After months of planning the event is happening this weekend when the club host Dunboyne from Meath managed by the one and only Sean Boylan. Club members will meet and greet Dunboyne at the Centre on Friday around 1.30pm and we would ask people to turn out and welcome them. The u14s then have 2 matches in Tyholland on the Friday evening at 4.30 and 5.30pm and then after that the Dunboyne players will head home to the local host families. On Saturday morning Dunboyne play Drumhowan at 10am and again everyone at the club ask for a good turnout to welcome them and there will be refreshments after the game for everyone. Its off then to Kingscourt for a match around 1-2pm. Then both teams are off together to the Monaghan v Down match in Armagh. If either team wins in Kingscourt they will have a semi final in Cloghan on the Sunday morning.
