A Star game in Magheracloone on Wed 21st June at 8pm with the next game scheduled for 8th July against Ballybay

Platinum Tanks RFL McKeown Cup Final Clontibret 1-10 Corduff 0-13

An exciting final in Blackhill on Sunday evening last saw us come from behind to almost clinch victory only to see Corduff equalise with the last kick of the game Meanwhile the RFL Div 1 team had a narrow win over Monaghan Harps 2-14 to 2-13 to keep their semi final hopes alive. That semi final spot will be largely decided on Wednesday 28th June and when we have Latton at home.

Best wishes to our boys in the Athletic Grounds on Saturday evening in the Ulster SFC semi final clash with Down as Monaghan seeks a place in the Ulster Final

€1000 Challenge:

Well done to all involved in helping out with Manzy’s Mungo show in the Community Centre on Saturday night which made a great contribution to our fund raising drive and of course to those who supported it by ticket purchase and their attendance on the night. Next up in the schedule of events is Padraig McGuigan who brings Rory’s Stories to the clubrooms on Saturday 15th July

Division Two team travels to Killanny on Tue 27th June while Division Six has Inniskeen as visitors on Wednesday 21st June. Both teams play Truagh on Sat 1st July

Feile; Clontibret Welcomes North London

A hearty welcome to the players and management from North London consisting of players from St Clarets, Tara, Parnell’s, St Kiernan’s, Tir Chonnail Gaels and North London Shamrocks along with their managers Barney Breen, Tony Griffin and Declan Ryan who join our community this week end for Feile We hope you have a rewarding and enjoyable time. Also, a big welcome to Rathvilly from Carlow and our own Inniskeen Grattans. A full weekend of football is guaranteed with proceedings kicking off at 4pm Friday afternoon with the second game at 5pm, resuming on Saturday morning at 11am at O’Neill Park. Best of luck to our own U14 team and many thanks to their families for all their help with hosting. Let’s make this a memorable and enjoyable occasion for all in our first time to take part.

Next up is SHL game away to Blayney on 22nd June followed by a home championship tie with Truagh the following week. The U12’s have a visit from East Cavan Gaels on 26th June.
