Carrickmacross Ladies Welcome Killucan who will be playing in Division 1
Killucan village is located in the east of County Westmeath. While Killucan Ladies Football Club have only been in existence since 2008, in that year they won the first of three Intermediate titles. The club has gone from strength to strength since then and currently has approx. 300 members.
Killucan are particularly strong at underage level and have won county titles at every age group. 2017 is the 5th year in a row in which Killucan have represented Westmeath in the Feile competition, having won the All Ireland Div 2 Feile in 2014 and competed in the Div 1 ever since. Amelia Shaw from last year’s Feile team also won the All Ireland Feile Skills competition in 2016.
Killucan Ladies is a dual club and many players also play camogie with Raharney, who are also representing Westmeath in the Feile in Kilkenny this year – so its a busy time for all these girls !
