Lotto: Results for w/e 29th April 2017: Jackpot €8,900. No winner. Numbers Drawn: 3,8,17,20. Lucky dip winners; Mark McBride, Sinead McColgan, Joe McMahon, Patricia Farren. Jackpot now €9,000 …. Only €2 ea or 3 for €5. Thanks to Eithne McStravog, Siobhan McKenna and Patricia Farren who were on lotto duty last month!

Monaghan Electrical IFL: Our Senior men travelled to Aughnamullen last Saturday. Karl O’Connell and Dermot Coyle opened the game with a point a piece but these were met with 3 more from Aughnamullen and the first half ended up Tyholland 0-5 Aughnamullen 0-8. After Aughnamullen scored a goal 16 minutes into the second half we failed up the pace to level the score again and the match resulted in a 5 point loss. Tyholland 0-10 Aughnamullen 1-12.

They played Toome last night…results on facebook.

Minors: Our Reserve boys took on Clontibret last night and will have a home game next Tuesday at 7.30. Please support!!

Gerry’s Prepared Veg:

U16: Our U16 lads head to Aughnamullen this evening as they continue on in their Division 2 league.

U14: Our U14 travel to Toome on Monday where they take on Clan nan Gael for their next match in their Div. 3 league.

U12: Hard luck to our U12S who were defeated by Oram in the final of the Spring League on Saturday. Training resumes next Tuesday for the Summer League.

U10s: Our U10s will be taking part in the All County Blitz in Cloghan this Saturday from 12 – 2.00. Good luck to all!!

Juveniles:

Our U8s will be taking part in a blitz in Cloghan on Saturday 13th May. Training will continue as normal this week.

Meanwhile our U6s are out on the field every Saturday morning from 10am. All children born 2011/2012 are welcome to join!

Ladies: Good luck to our Senior Reserve ladies who welcome Castleblayney to St. Patricks park on Sunday for a 3pm throw in.

Hard luck to our Senior Ladies who were defeated by the Seans last Sunday.

Girls U14: Well done to our U14 girls who defeated Corduff last Monday!!

MEMBERS MEETING: Monday 8th at 8 o clock. Our next meeting will be preceeded by a Members Meeting and we would encourage all members, players, coaches to attend. This members meeting will be an opportunity for you to see what plans are ahead for our club

and what we hope to achieve this year. We value the views and suggestions of all our members and if you have any issue or ideas in how we can improve the running of CLG Tigh Thalainn please come along.

Coaching Opportunity: There is a fantastic opportunity available NOW to any over 16s who would be interested in coaching at the GAA Cul Camps this summer. Please contact Siobhan on 086 3470108 for further details.

Monaghan GAA Open Morning: There will be a brilliant opportunity for everyone to meet and greet your GAA Heros THIS Saturday morning. Everyone is welcome to Cloghan from 10.30 – 12.00 where you can get your photo taken with our Monaghan Senior players and get Autographs.

Lordy Lordy Lordy: A massive HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Coaching Officer Paddy Hughes who will be celebrating his 40th Birthday this weekend! Have a good one Paddy!! While we are on the birthday buzz we also wish our childrens officer Selina Mullen and Tracy McNally very Happy Birthdays!! Breithlá Shona Daoibh go léir.

Comhgairdeas: Well done to Paula Treanor and all in the Shirleys Summit group who climbed Croagh Patrick last weekend in order to raise funds for Newry Hospice.

Dates for your Diary: We hope to run our highly anticipated summer camp on the weekend of 2nd, 3rd, 4th August this year and don’t forget coming soon is the Féile na nGael and Féile Peile na nÓg tournaments which takes place from 23rd to 25h June.

Sympathy: The club would like to express our deepest sympathy to Donna McCormill and family following the death of her sister Bernie Holden McKenna. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilís.
