On the field

It was another busy week of fixtures for the teams of the club. Our U16’s travelled to Killanny on Thursday night last but unfortunately suffered a defeat at the hands of a very strong home side. It was better news for our U14’s as they recorded a win over Eire Og in Pairc Mhuire, on what was a busy Saturday as our U8’s and U10’s had their first blitz of the year in Threemilehouse. The cloudy weather certainly didn’t dampen the spirits of the players or coaches, with everyone enjoying the opportunity to meet and play against other clubs. Saturday evening see our senior reserve side in action in the Crawley cup where they lost out to Ballybay.

Upcoming Fixtures

Tonight (Thursday) sees the U16’s back in action in Division 3 of the league when they pay a visit to Doohamlet at 7:30. Saturday will be a big day for the U12’s as the Spring league finals take place at Cloghan and on Sunday Scotstown will be the visitors to Pairc Mhuire in round 4 of the Junior league at 2pm. Tuesday next 2nd of May will see the minors St Marys/Na Mullai take on Clan Na Gael in Smithborough at 7:30pm
