Celtic Pure sign new deal with Monaghan Football to become the official water partner.
Celtic Pure’s first major sponsorship deal within the GAA
Celtic Pure, the Irish natural spring water company, today announced a new sponsorship of the Monaghan Senior football team as their official water partner. With hydration being a key pillar of sports performance, this role sees Celtic Pure bring their expertise in water to the Monaghan set-up and will ensure the provision of water for training and match days throughout the year for the Ulster Senior Football Champions 2015 team.
The sponsorship, which was unveiled at the Monaghan GAA training grounds in Cloghan, continues Celtic Pure’s long-standing support of Irish sport which includes an existing national sponsorship with the FAI.
Colin Walshe, Monaghan Senior Football Captain, spoke of the new sponsorship and what it will bring to Monaghan this season; “Any sports person knows the importance of hydration and getting good clean water into the body. We have worked on improving ourselves this season and increasing the intensity we bring to games. This will mean the lads will need to be thinking of hydration as a part of their match preparation and it is a perfect fit to have a Monaghan company such as Celtic Pure with us to support our goal.”
Malachy O’Rourke Monaghan Manager, spoke about the partnership ahead of the 2017 season for Monaghan; “It’s great to have a partner like Celtic Pure on board this season. Hydration is a key part of sports performance and we are delighted to be partnering with a local home-grown water company like Celtic Pure.”
Padraig McEneaney Celtic Pure CEO, explained why involvement in sport is important to his business; “The GAA is a unique sport that is deep-rooted in Irish communities. We are a proud Irish company that supplies fresh spring water to our customers and are glad to bring the two together and support our own side, Monaghan football.”
