Under 14
Killanny welcomed Clan na Gael to Pairc Eanna on Saturday last. Killanny started of well and never looked back as they took control of the game. Mick McEntee had another good performance in goals. The defense of Christopher Tobin, Conaill Marry, Matthew Mathers and John Gartlan were solid. Darragh O’Shea and Cian Burns controlled midfield. The forwards of Mark Carolan, Cillían McConnon, Thomas Gartlan and Conor Burns were all on fire with some fancy passes thrown in also. Michael Grimes, John Kelly, Niall Quinn, Ronan O’Reilly and Odhran McGinnety all played well when they came on with Iarla Gartlan scoring the final point of the game. The game finished Killanny 6-17 Clan na Gael 2-6.
Get well
Get well soon to Dean Connolly who suffered a shoulder injury recently while on duty with the county minors.
Well done to Ronan O’Reilly and Darren Murphy who represented Killanny at the Activity day in Croke Park recently, hopefully many more days out on the famous sod for the lads.
The U12 team travel to Cloghan this Saturday to take part in the Spring League Finals. Best of Luck boys.
