Senior’s

Wednesday 12th V Scotstown,

After a heavy defeat the previous week our lads had to be quick of the mark and they didn’t waste much time with Micky Tierney registering 3 points within the first 5 mins. As Feargal Sheridan and Christopher Mc Gorman dominated the midfield and kept the supply into the forwards going, Tommy Monaghan, Connor leonard and Ryan Sherlock made sure to keep the score board rolling to leave a half time lead with 7 points to 5.

In the 2nd half it was Dermot Glesson’s time to get on the score board with 2 brilliant points and not long after Connor leonard had a goal to add to his tally. In defence the 2 Mc Aree boys held the fort well with Darren settling into the Senior Line up like he was always there. As the game wore on we started to up the pace once more with some excellent play and finishing with 9 points to his name Micky Tierney made sure to punish with every opportunity.

Final score Eire og 1-17 Scotstown 0-12

Saturday 18th V Rockcorry,

Following a dominating performance 3 days previous it was essential that we kept our momentum going. After 30 mins and a score line of 2-8 to 1-3 it look like a tough 2nd half lay in wait but our lads certainly thought differently and soon put the game to bed.

Final score Eire og 4-17 Rockcorry 1-06

No game for a few weeks and keep an eye out for fixtures.

Husband Francie, To Una and Eddie, Gary and Olivia, Francis and Karen, to Shane and Mark and to the rest of the Mc Caffery and Graham families.
