Senior’s

Our Seniors were out in action against in the First round of the Junior league last Friday night. Unfortunately we were unable to keep going and suffered a heavy defeat.

Final score Eire og 0-9 Seans 2-18.

Next up is a home game Wednesday the 12th against Scotstown then again on Saturday 15th at home when we take on Rockcorry.

Speedy recovery to our Joint Senior captain for the year, Ronan Cassidy who suffered an ankle injury at training last week.

U14’s

Our u14’s had a great run out this evening with a challenge against Tyholland. From the off our lads showed we were up for it with Patrick Lambe showing his strength and speed stopping everything that came his way. Upfront the two Smith brothers caused havoc linking well to get some fantastic scores. Midfield was dominated by Conal Duffy and Mathew McBride whom endless work rate up and down the field proved vital to keep the score board rolling. Other positives to take from the game were performances from James Hughes, Thomas Stevenson and Jake lambe getting stuck into the opposition.

Many thanks to Lauren Monaghan whom refereed the game this evening.

Final score Eire og 5-9 Tyholland 2-9

Training continues every Tuesday at 6.30pm

Ladies

Seniors, Spring league

Our seniors took on Inniskeen in a very intense game. At half time Emmet Og were ahead by one point but after a stellar second half the girls came out with another two points to add to their tally. Training continues Tuesday and Thursday at 8pm.

U16’s

Our u16’s played Aughnamullen last Wednesday night. The girls played with a player down following Katie Monaghans injury. The girls fought hard but unfortunately Aughnamullen came out on top.

We would like to wish Katie a speedy recovery.

U14’s

Our u14’s were out in Railway Park on Monday against Aughnamullen. The girls worked well together as a team with two players short but on the day Aughnamullen were the stronger team. Training continues Friday evening at 5pm
