Drumhowan Club Notes

Platinum Tanks RFC  Crawley Cup –  the  Bs  suffered a heavy defeat in the  Crawley Cup last Saturday the 22nd  of April away to Carrickmacross.  The full time score was Drumhowan 0-6 Carrickmacross 1-17

Eurotech JFL – The As play Currin this Sunday  the 30th of  April at 3pm.

Platinum Tanks RFL Division 2 A – the Bs next game is  at home to Tyholland on Wednesday the 10th of May at  7.45 pm

Connolly Meats MFL Division 1 – Last Tuesday the 25th of April the minors took on Inniskeen in Drumhowan. Please check social media for a result. Next Tuesday the 2nd of May  they take on neighbours  Aughnamullen away at 7.30pm.

U16s – the St Patrick’s team got the 1st win of their campaign last Sunday the 23rd of April  when they overcame Latton on a full time scoreline of Latton 2-10 St. Patrick’s 5-8. This Thursday the 27th of April Clan na Gael  are the visitors to Ballybay  with a 7.30pm throw in.

U14 – This team continued their fine start to the season with a win over Tyholland on Saturday last with a  4-17 to 3-5  scoreline. Next game is Saturday 6th May at home to Patrick Emmetts  at 12 noon.

U12 – This Saturday is Spring League finals day in Cloghan. Check website for time and opposition. After this teams will be graded in various divisions and the main Summer League will commence on May 13th.

U10 Blitz– The club hosted the first Go Games Blitz of the season on Saturday morning last the 22nd of April. We had over 100 children taking part. Thanks to all the referees, organisers and people who served tea in kitchen.

U10 – were due to travel to Cremartin on Wednesday night 26th for a game at 7pm.

U8– We must do it all again this Saturday when we also host the first blitz in Under 8. Again we will have big numbers coming so we will need help again on Saturday. All players should be at the pitch for 9-40am.

Feile U14 – There is Feile warm up tournament in Cloghan on bank holiday Monday next. Text with details will go out later in the week.

Bank Holiday- No juvenile training on Monday next – changed to Tuesday night instead next week from U6 right up to U14.

Croke Park – Well done to Tristan Duffy and Jason Clarke who played in Croke Park on Friday last the 20th of April.
