Club Lotto:
This week’s Club Lotto draw was held in Deery’s Bar & Lounge, Carrickmacross on Sunday night last. There was no winner of our Jackpot of €9,100. The numbers drawn were: 08, 11, 17 & 27. The five €20 Lucky Dip winners were Áine Mallon, Bernice McNally, Brendan Keenan, Benny Gartlan & Fiona McKitterick.
Next week’s draw will take place in McConnell’s Bar, Ballytrain, where the Jackpot will be €9,200. Thank you for your continued support.

Intermediate Team:
The Intermediate Team will travel to Cremartin on Saturday evening for Round 4 of the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football League. Throw-in in Shamrock Park, Cremartin is at 6pm.
Reserve Team:
The next game of the Reserve Football League is on Wednesday 10th May with a home game against Oram in Páirc Ghealach, Corduff, with throw-in at 7:45pm. The Reserve Championship, McKeown Cup, gets underway on Saturday 13th May with a game against the same opposition, Oram, in Corduff again, with throw-in at 7pm.
Minor Team:
The Minor amalgamation of Donaghduff Gaels had a 3-10 to 3-08 victory away to Killanny in Round 4 of the League last week.
The side played Carrickmacross on Tuesday evening in Corduff. See Social Media or next week’s notes for result. The team are away to Magheracloone on Tuesday next, with throw-in at 7:30pm. This is the last game for the team before the break for exams.
Inter-County Teams:
Monaghan’s senior hurlers fell to an agonising one point defeat to Tyrone in the opening game of the Nicky Rackard Cup on Saturday last with the scoreline reading, 2-11 to 0-16, at the final whistle. They now enter the qualifier section, where they have received a bye into what is essentially a quarter-final.
The Under 17 footballers concluded their Ulster League campaign with a 3-11 to 0-02 win over Armagh in the Shield final in Garvaghey on Saturday last. The Under 17’s play in the newly formed Ulster Under-17 Championship on Saturday 6th May, where they await the winners of Fermanagh & Down.
Committee Meeting:
Next Committee Meeting will take place on Tuesday 2nd May at 8:00pm in the Clubrooms. All committee members please attend.

Ladies
U16 League:
The U16’s travelled to Tyholland last week for Round 3 of the league. Corduff dominated the scoreboard and lead from the start in what was a very exciting encounter. Both teams were on form with a huge tally of goals. The visitors were a real threat in what was an impressive team effort by Corduff with all players from defence to forwards putting in a massive performance. By the final whistle Corduff were victorious by a margin of 6 points on a scoreline of 6-04 to 5-13 and they registered their first win of the competition. Congratulations to all involved.
County Scene:
Congratulations to the Monaghan U14 team on their recent victory over Donegal in the U14 Championship. In particular congratulations to Corduff’s Georgia Smyth and good luck against Antrim in round 3 on the 6th of May.
Juveniles
Under 6, 8, 10
Training as usual on Saturday from 10.00 to 11.15.
Under 10
The first U10 blitz of 2017 was held on Saturday, April 22nd, in Oram. Corduff was represented by a panel of 25 boys who put on a great display. Well done to all!
Under 12
Our U12s wrap up the group stage of the Spring League on Tuesday, April 25th, with an away fixture to Latton. Throw in at Latton is 7pm.
The Spring League Finals day will be held in Cloghan on Saturday, April 29th. Corduff’s opposition and throw-in time will be determined after the final round of group fixtures.

Patrician High School Brock Cup Success:
Congratulations to the Patrician High School on winning the Brock Cup on Monday, April 24th, in Silverbridge. The Brock Cup is an Ulster Schools A competition and this is the first time the Patrician High School has won it. They beat St Colman’s Newry on a score of 1-07 to 0-04. Corduff’s Jordan McGarrell played a starring role in midfield and was outstanding on the night.
Well done Jordan, a fantastic achievement!
