Minor League! The minor team turned out their best performance with victory over Magheracloone in Emmet Park. The foundation was set in the first half when the home led by 1-07 to 0-04 at the break. Good play was shown throughout this period to create an air of optisism for the second half. Magheracloone registered their fifth and last point early after the restart and it was from here on that the Emmets showed some fine skills and drive; Killian Gartland who was having an outstanding hour started the sequence; indeed he landed six-points overall! The Emmets defenders intercepted all the major Magheracloone threats and kept the Mitchells chances to a minimum. The half back line were in control of their area and made life difficult for their opponents: Midfield was strong and used their strenght to good use. Up front it was pleasing to see some very intricate play with a high level of movement; which in turn created space and the points. The half forward line were productive in producing openings and found plenty of gaps while the full forward line were on their toes and confident on the ball.
