Dinner Dance: Saturday night last wrapped up our 2016 Footballing year, and what a fantastic night it was, huge thank you to each and every person who attended Saturday nights dinner dance, to everyone who bought a ticket but couldn’t attend, Huge congrats to all our winners on the night, thank you to all our sponsors, to the Glencarn for hosting the event, huge word of thanks to Dessie Mone who left his friends wedding to present our juvenile awards
Dessie has been a great friend to our juvenile teams in the last 10 years, taking training sessions a couple of times a year and has a great interest in the progress of our players.
We are very lucky in Monaghan to have a group of lads playing for the county team who are always willing to come to clubs to do these jobs, thanks to francis Ward for his Key note address and the presntation of the senior team medals and awards.
Thank you also to Peadar Callan O’Cathalains Menswear for the very generous sponsorship of the dicky bows ties that was proudly worn by our senior squad on the night.
