Latton GAA Club Club Notes – Week Beginning 6th March 2017

Lotto Results.

The numbers drawn this week were 1-2-26-22 Bonus 24. There was no jackpot winner . Our €20 winners Martin Smyth,Creeve,Shane & Owen Coyle,Latton,Ollie Mc Quillan,Rockcorry,Siobhan Mc Quillan,Rockcorry,Sean Mc Cabe,Ballybay.

Club Clean Up

A Sincere thanks to all who helped out over the last 2 Saturday’s. The Grounds are looking well and in shape to celebrate our 100 Years.

Juvenile Registration

Thanks to all who registered last Friday evening at our Juvenile Registration. If you have not registered please contact Eileen on 086-3641495 as all Children must be registered to take part in any GAA Activities.

Zumba Classes

Classes continue each Monday at 7.30 with Tara.

St Patricks Centenary Celebrations

Latton/Bawn’s St.Patricks Day Centenary Parade-On Sunday 12th March 2017, the Latton/Bawn Centenary St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place, assembling at St. Patricks Church Carpark, Bawn at 3.45pm, departing at 4pm sharp, travelling via Lacken Bridge to the O’Rahilly GAA Centre, Latton for 5pm. All local businesses and Community groups are invited to take part, a great opportunity to showcase your business and its activity, so get working on that float, generous prizes for the best floats, for further details, please contact Mary Duffy on 086-8196718 or Seamus Coyle on 087-6814067. A wonderful evening of entertainment is planned in the O’Rahilly GAA Centre with Brendan McCourt live from 6.30pm, also full evening food is available by booking with Bernie Hamilton on 087-9182006 or Mary Duffy on 086-8196718 at 7pm, booking for food is essential by 10pm on Wednesday 8th March. This promises to be a great occasion for the Latton/Bawn Community, so please join in for the entire evening by booking your food at the above numbers, by 10pm on Wednesday 8th March

Centenary Museum

We are currently working on our Museum at the minute –This will be permanent fixture showing Club over last 100 years. In this regard if anyone has any old Photos they would like included they can they make contact with Kathleen Lynch who will organise Scanning & Return of same.

New 100 Year Commemoration Jersey

We are unveiling our new Jersey to commemorate the 100 Years of our Club this week. There will be a stand at the St Patrick’s Day Parade where jerseys can be order.

Monaghan County Team

Hard luck to our County Squad who were defeated for 1st Time at weekend by Tyrone in National League .Well done to Kieran Duffy and to Owen Coyle who played his first full game of this year’s league in Monaghan Jersey and put in a very strong performance .
