DOOHAMLET GFC NOTES
Reserves: Doohamlet Reserves got our season under way on Sunday last with a home game against our neighbours Ballybay. This was a very entertaining game considering the conditions and first game of the season and both sides can be satisfied with their performance. Senior players like Shane McManus, Ollie Hughes and the evergreen Greg Duffy were very much to the fore with good performances from Damian Ward, Michael Marray, John Duffy Aidan Marray and Johnny Duffy who has just returned from Australia. Special mention to young players Eoin Markey and John Murphy who made their senior debuts on Sunday last and we wish them well at senior level.
We wish mentors John Doran and Gavin King and all the players good wishes in the season ahead.
