Under 14’s – Division 3. Patrick Emmett’s season got off to a winning start with a good win away at Tyholland on a scoreline of 0-04 to 2-11. By all accounts we have another ‘sharp shooter’ Jack in the club, watch out Mc Carron, Mc Quaid is on your case. Our next game will be another away trip this time to Toome for a game v Clan na Gael on Saturday 8th April.

Under 16’s – Division 3, Our first game of the season takes us to Rockcorry on Thursday evening 30th March with a throw in time of 6;30pm.

If any young people (16+) would like to become ‘Go Games’ refs please contact Fintan.

Boys Development Panels

The trials for the under 14 development panel continue over Easter. Text message with more details will be sent to eligible players and parents nearer the time.

Seniors

The Currin senior panel continued their preparation for the coming season with another good workout against Aghaloo from Tyrone in Scotshouse on Sunday morning last. The league fixtures are out and we begin a five game ‘run’ on Saturday, evening, 8th April in Scotshouse, against Rockcorry. BUT, this will obviously change if Monaghan beat Dublin on Sunday next in Clones, to make the league final. We wish Jack all the best and well done to him on a great Division one campaign.

Committee matters

We welcomed our local government Minister, M’s Heather Humphries, to our club grounds on Friday evening where she reviewed our plans for the enhancement of our facilities.
