Kingscourt is the place to be this Friday night with 2 Bawn all Ireland finals taking place, Michael clerkin plays in the silver Masters B final and Gavin coyle plays in the Junior final, best of luck lads and I’m sure half of Bawn will be there for support. The Killian mc elroy memorial tournament takes place on the 24th -25th and 26th of March in bawn, all adult grades can take part and we would be delighted to see anyone from the area dropping in to watch the action and maybe have a cup of tea. Anyone wishing to play please msg 0871236806.

MONAGHAN HARPS

Best of luck to our All-Ireland finalist Tiarnan O Rourke, Konrad kowal and Justas Dambinskas who play in their finals this Sunday in Kingscourt. The club would like to thank Jim Mc Quaid, Accountant for presenting the players with new tops and kit bags for the finals. There is a festival of handball on this week-end in Kingscourt with both Adult and Juvenile All-Ireland Finals taking place.

ST MELLANS

All Ireland Adult Championships. Good luck to Michael Mc Carron as he plays his “Ruby Masters” All Ireland final tonight (Thursday 16th) in Kingscourt where he takes on Eugene Kennedy from Dublin, good luck Mickey.

County Adult Championships. The Nov2 final between Fergal O Neill and Gary Mc Elroy from Bawn was played last Friday evening in Tydavnet, it wasn’t Fergal’s night as he lost both games 21-15, 21-14, Fergal played well through out the whole game but Gary just served better on the night and caused Fergal those few more problems, hard luck Fergal.

Table Quiz. We would like to thank all that came down to support our table quiz, it was a very enjoyable night for all that took part, a big thanks to all that helped out in anyway to make the whole night run off smoothly, thanks to AnnaRose who helped prepare and serve the refreshments and to all those who donated spot prizes for our raffle, a lot of people could not make it due to other commitments on the night and have forward donations to committee members so thank you all very much.
