RFL D1 Clontibret 3-2 Monaghan Harps 0-19

A below par performance all round in the Harps on Saturday evening last with a big step up called for when we visit Latton for a 6pm throw in on Saturday 1st April.

Minor

The minor squad get their 2017 campaign off the ground with a visit to Doohamlet on Tuesday 4th April for a 6.30pm throw in. The following week we have St Marys as visitors at 7pm. Good luck to the players and management for a successful run.

Juvenile

U14 Clontibret 2-8 Truagh 5-10

A second defeat on Saturday but a much improved performance gives the boys hope as they head to Latton for the next game on Saturday 8th April at 2pm

U12

Both teams out again on Saturday with Group C at home to Truagh at 2pm followed by a visit to Scotstown for Group D for 4.30pm

U16

Home game with Carrickmacross on Friday 31st March at 6.30pm followed by a visit to Cremartin on Thursday 6th April at 6-45pm

Training Saturday morning at 9.30am

U8/ U10

No Training on this Saturday for either of these groups due to the Fun Run taking place

U10 With the Dubs coming to Clones this Sunday we have our own set of Dubs coming to play our U10s. We hope to provide a big welcome for recently crowned All-Ireland Club hurling champions Cuala who will play us Sunday morning at the field but in the football code. Can all players be at the field for 10.50am where we hope to make them feel very welcome.

Hurling

Training, as usual, in the Hall on Friday at 6-30pm, with a special outing to be advised by text. Remember on Monday 3rd April, from 7pm, hurling’s greatest prize, the Liam McCarthy Cup will be at the clubrooms where it will be available for photos, examination and general adulation! All welcome.

Monaghan

Following a good come back in Ballyshannon on Sunday last all attention now turns to The Dubs in Clones on Sunday, where the outcome could have a bearing on our first senior club game which is due to be played on April 8th with Scotstown as visitors at 6.30pm.

Fun Run

Registration for our Fun Run takes place from 12pm at the Community centre with the Run to kick off at 3pm. As always it’s a great day out for the family with lots of fun and atmosphere on the day. We look forward to seeing you all and thank you for your support
