Last Man Standing

Still going with the last 3 lads after all 3 had selected Man Utd. Fingers crossed we wil have a winner this weekend!

Social night

What a night was had by all. It’s safe to say Dan Toal will be walking about the village now with a spring in his step after winning the title of Smithboro’s fittest family despite Dick Mc Aree calling on the Toal family to be drug tested after a formidable performance in the final! Despite the allegation’s Dan says he won’t get dragged into a war of words and is already planning holding onto the title next year!

The club would like to thank everyone who made the night a success. All the participants, everyone who helped out in any form, thank you all very much.

Senior player of the year went to Dermott Gleeson and Junior Player went to Feargal Sheridan. Congratulations to both lads and very well done.

Smithboro Walking Club

Walking takes place every Monday and every Thursday at 7.30pm sharp and every Saturday at 9.30am sharp. New members always welcome.

U14’s

Our u14 training continues every Tuesday 6.30pm in the complex. Please bring water and runners.

All Ireland Feile 2017

For the first time in the clubs history we will be entering a team in this year’s feile and by doing so we become a host club. As a host club we will be looking for family’s willing to take some players from all around the Country who will be participating in the feile. In order to be a host family every member of that family over 16 will need to be garda vetted but once we have all the family’s lined up we will get all vetting done at once. We hope to have more info on this within the next couple of days and will keep everyone informed. In the meantime if you would like to be a host family please make it known to any member of the committee.
