Club Membership:

The time has come to renew Club Membership for the 2017 season, or become a member of our great club for the very 1st time. Contact any Committee or Executive Member to find out how you can do so.

Mini Fontenoys:

An important meeting will take place in Lisdoonan Community Centre on Friday February 17th at 8.00 pm for parents of children born in the years 2007 to 2012. This information meeting will be followed by an opportunity to register your child for the coming season. Please make sure to attend.

Coaching Courses:

Anyone interested in doing a coaching course for any level, or interested in getting involved with any of our Juvenile teams you can do so by contacting Colin on 0879090477. If you are considering getting involved in juvenile coaching your first step should be to complete the on line garda vetting process which can be accessed through the resources section of the Monaghan GAA website..

Under 14 boys training:

Training for Under 14 boys (2003/2004) continues on Saturdays at 10:30 in Donaghmoyne all players to attend.

Recently Deceased:

The club would like to extend its sympathies to the Burns family and friends on the death of Ann Burns Dundalk, to the Collier family and friends on the death of Vincent Collier Clogherhead, and to the McGeough family and friends on the death of Brian McGeough Kilkitt.

Annual Dinner Dance:

The annual dinner dance and presentation night will take place on Saturday April 1st in the Nuremore Hotel, more details to follow.

Breakfast Morning:

Keep free Sunday Morning March 19th as our Under 14 boys will be hosting a breakfast morning in Lisdoonan Centre to raise money for Feile 2017.

Ladies: January saw a number of award nights taking place throughout Ulster with Donaghmoyne Ladies picking up awards at all these events. Gaelic Life All Stars – We had six players pick up Gaelic Life All Stars for the 2016 season. Eileen McElroy, Cathriona McConnell, Sharon Courtney, Fiona Courtney, Cora Courtney and Joanne Geoghean all picked up All Stars on the night. Francie Coleman was also recognised for his outstanding contribution to Ladies football when he was awarded Hall of Fame for 2016. Finally, Donaghmoyne GAA club was named runner up in the Club of the Year category, recognising the fantastic work being done on and off the field within our club. Congrats to all involved. Ulster GAA Writers Awards- January also saw the Ulster GAA Writers Awards taking place in the Hillgrove Hotel where Donaghmoyne Ladies were named Team of the Year on the night and Francie Coleman was also awarded Personality of the Year. Congratulations to all within the club on the numerous achievements over the last few weeks. Civic Reception- Thanks to Monaghan County Council who held a civic reception in Carrickmacross Civic Offices last Monday night to acknowledge the achievements of Donaghmoyne Ladies in 2016. A great evening was enjoyed by all. Fixtures – The 2017 playing season is just around the corner, follow Donaghmoyne Ladies on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with all fixtures and results for the season ahead.
