Bank of Ireland Dr. Mc Kenna Cup Section B
Monaghan v St. Mary’s University, Wednesday, 8.00, Inniskeen
Monaghan continue their 2017 Dr. Mc Kenna Cup campaign against St. Mary’s University in Inniskeen on Wednesday night.
Following wins over Fermanagh and Antrim, a win or a draw at Páirc Grattan would secure Monaghan’s place in the semi-finals. St. Mary’s won a high-scoring opener against Antrim, before losing out to Fermanagh on Sunday.
Monaghan will be looking to build on their one-point opening win over Fermanagh, while Antrim lost by the same margin in a high-scoring clash with St. Mary’s University, Belfast.
Malachy O’Rourke is again likely to run the role over a panel that includes ten newcomers, with 28 players having featured in the first two games. St. Mary’s can call on the likes of Tyrone trio Conor Meyler, Cathal McShane and Kieran McGeary, as well as Oisín O’Neill and Niall Toner.
