Our Ladys qualified for the Ulster A final following an impressive victory over Loreto Omagh in the Peace Link Clones. A strong third quarter effectively ended the contest when aided by a strong breeze the Blayney girls hit three goals without reply. Castleblayney elected to play into a strong breeze in the opening half and started in lightening fashion with Sorcha Mc Cague scoring a free, Erin Hamill scored the first of her four goals to put Our Ladys into an early lead. Further points from Mc Cague and Hamill increased the lead. The Tyrone girls aided by a strong breeze began to find there feet and narrowed the gap, Celine Nally hit a three pointer after a following move to increase Blayney, Omagh response was instant with a goal following strong run by Ulster colleges all star Aoibheann Mc Hugh. Half time score Our Ladys 2.05 Omagh 1.07.

The Blayney girls began the third quarter with a brace of goals from Erin Hamill, Saoirse Duffy and Jayne Drury.

further points from Grainne Tibby and Sorcha Mc Cague saw the Blayney girls effectively end the contest, wing forward Jenny Duffy pilled on more agony for the Omagh girls with a well taken goal.

The team was Sorcha Mc Donald, Sarah Mc Eneaney, Emma Kerr, Megan Byrne, Sarah Boyd, Ashling Callan, Jayne Drury, Celine Nally, Andrea Duffy, Sorcha Mc Cague, Niamh Kerr, Jenny Duffy, Aoife Bannigan, Erin Hamill, Saoirse Duffy, subs used Grainne Tibby, Eimear Conlon, Abby Duffy, Holly O’Reilly. The girls play Ballygawley in the final on the 4th of February at a venue to be confirmed.
