Centenary Dinner Dance: Will take place in the Glencarn Hotel on Saturday the 11th of February. The club invites each member of the club to come along and join in the crack on what promises to be an enjoyable night; recollecting last year’s events on the field and the many different tales from the club’s foundation in late 1916. Gaels from far and wide are also encouraged to come along on the night. Everyone is most welcome. Tickets for this night are priced at 30 euro each and are available in the Social Centre which is opened from 8.30pm each evening. Tickets can also be got in the Glencarn or you can place an order in Bryne’s Butchers.
Juveniles: We plan to get back to football practice in the first weekend of February for all ages. Details next week. All newcomers welcome.
Awards Night: Congratulations to Dermot Daly who accepted the Junior Footballer of the Year award last Friday night. An enjoyable night for the club was also topped off as they won Club of the Year. Well done to all involved.
Sympathy: The club extends a vote of sympathy to the family of Benny McArdle, Annaglaive, who passed away recently. May the Lord have mercy on his soul.
