Congratulations to Conor Duffy who has been selected on the Irish Senior Men’s Team for the 2017 Celtic Cross Country International race in Cardiff on Sunday the 22nd of January. Conor is part of a very strong team that are hoping to finish in the medal positions. Everyone in the Ballybay Pearse Brothers club wishes Conor and all the Irish preventatives all the very best of luck.
Any club member who still has outstanding swim cards could they please return them to Paddy Kerr at their earliest convenience. Thank you to all for your continued support.
Bingo: Just a quick note to remind everyone that the club’s weekly Bingo takes place every Tuesday night at 9pm in the clubhouse. The bingo is a great opportunity for the community to come together midweek and have a good night while maybe even winning a few bob. This is a fundamental part of the club’s fund raising for day-to-day costs and we would all really appreciate if you, your friends or your family could support this if you can at all. And, don’t forget, there is transport available to the centre.
The next committee meeting takes place on Monday the 23rd of January in the club house at 8pm. Could all members please attend. Thank you
