Míle buíochas d’achan duine atá cláraithe go dtí seo. Many thanks to all who’ve signed up so far. The closing date for standing orders has now passed. However cash payments can still be accepted in the month of December. Keep an eye on club Facebook page for further updates. Plaic Patrick Whelan Míle buíocha achan duine a bhí ag nochtadh na plaice in omós bunaitheoir ár gclub Patrick Whelan an Domhnach seo caite. Thanks to the large crowd that attended the unveiling of a memorial to Patrick Whelan, (1871-1934) founder member of Killeevan Sarsfields GAA club at Greenan’s Cross roads on Sunday last. An informative talk on Patrick Whelan was delivered by J.P. Graham before the serving of refreshments in Greenans Cross school. A great occasion and important to mark the service given by a local man to all thing GAA in Killeevan and on the wider Ulster and National stage. The excellent book ‘Killeevan Sarsfields GFC: A centenary history 1915-2015 and a parish record’ written by JP Graham is still for sale in Martin’s Newbliss, Matthews of Clones and Easons, Monaghan at €20 per copy.
