AIB Ulster Club Intermediate Football Championship Final
Pomeroy 2-16 Donaghmoyne 0-10 27/11/16
Like Blackhill earlier in the day at Páirc Esler, Donaghmoyne also missed out on Ulster Club silverware when they fell away in the second half of the IFC decider against another Tyrone side, Pomeroy. A Chris Colhoun goal for Pomeroy was all that separated the teams at half-time, but it was one-way traffic thereafter as the 2004 champions cruised to a second title at this level. Pomeroy had nine players on the scoresheet, including three substitutes, as they took command. The second goal, by Tyrone Under-21 captain Frank Burns, who top-scored with 1-5, sealed their victory five minutes from time.
