Ulster Club Championship: Blackhill finally rediscovered the form that saw them claim honours in Monaghan in the 2nd half of this Quarter Final against Clonmore of Armagh. The first half saw Clonmore with plenty of the ball but resolute defending and opportunism point taking saw Blackhill lead by a point at the interval 8-7. In the 2nd half, Blackhill were able to find another few gears and some scintillating attacking play saw them blow the opposition away with a final score of 19 points to 8 points. Semi-Final: Blackhill will face the Donegal champions Downings in the semi final. This tie will be played on Sunday 13th November at 2:30pm. The venue is Owenbeg, Derry. So it’s time to get Google Maps out and keep the support going.
