There was no winner of this week’s lotto. The numbers drawn were: 07, 14, 16 and 22. SFL RD 18 Magheracloone V Monaghan Harps in Magheracloone at 2:00pm
U10’S
Our U10 team Caoimhe Kelly, Saoirse McGarrell, Megan McNulty, Emma Hughes, Mattie Doogan, Kai Duffy, Shane McMahon, Luke Gilsenan, Oisin McConnon, Colm Farrelly, Oisin Byrne and Killian Smith braved the cold and very wet conditions on Saturday as they travelled to Drumhowan to play in their anunal blitz. There were eight teams in total. After playing three games in the group stage, the Mitchells reached the Semi Final of the Cup. We faced a very strong team from Butlers Bridge, Co Cavan. Our wonderful little team fought to the end and in true Magheracloone spirit never gave up. While we didn’t reach the final it was a great experience for the children to get the chance to play teams from other counties. Thank you to the U10 coaches Catherine, Sean and Keith. Thank you to Drumhowan GFC for a really well run blitz, their hospitality and the endless cups of tea.
U6’s
Well done also to the U6 team who played two games on Saturday morning before they were rained off. Each team player played really well considering the atrocious conditions.
U6 ACADEMY
The Academy continues on Saturday mornings from 10am to 11am.
STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING
Our Strength and conditioning winter program started on Monday evening. Over 30 children took part. Thank you to Gavin Doogan who has kindly offered to facilitate this year’s program. Strength and Conditioning is for all those born from 2001 to 2005 inclusive. It is free of charge. What a great way to stay fit through the winter.

Well done to Scoil Bhride who reached the final the Cumann na mBunscol competition. They now face Edenmore NS in the Final. Good luck to both Scoil Bhride and Ballynagearn in their respective finals on Saturday.

Magheracloone Mitchells would like to wish Conor McKeown, Mogie Murray and all the Monaghan U16 team the very best of luck as they take on Derry in the Buncrana Cup Final this Sunday the 23rd at 12 noon in Buncrana, Co Donegal.
JUVENILE PRESENTATION
The Juvenile presentation evening will be held on 4th November. Medals will be presented by none other than Monaghan’s number 1 Rory Beggan to all age groups from U6 to U16. U12 league winners, U14 Shield runner up and the U16 Championship runner up medals will be presented. Registration for 2017 will take place on the evening. Merchandise orders taken on the night will not be available for Christmas.
JUVENILE AGM
The juvenile AGM will take place on Friday the 11th of November. It is important that at least one guardian of each juvenile player attends.
