Intermediate League
Cill Eann 0g 5p
Corduff 2g 15p
We went down very meekly to a very spirited Corduff side who were determined to play intermediate football next year in Pairc Eanna last Sunday in front of a large crowd. Corduff started very strongly and took full advantage of a very strong breeze and had 1g 3 points on board before we had a chance to take a breadth. Corduff continued all the way through the more dominant side and ran out worthy winners. We now have to gather ourselves together, dust ourselves down and travel to Tyholland on Sunday week to take on the home side in the semi final of the league. We face a strong side that has players with county experience and reeling from a championship defeat and so we have a mammoth task on our hands.
Breakfast Morning
Come on down to the Community Centre on Sunday morning next between 9.30 and 13.00 and have your breakfast served to you by our boys who have done themselves proud this year as not only have they stayed in intermediate football for the first time of trying which was their aim at the beginning of the year but they have reached the semi final of the league.
