The second half started with a Donal Hughes point 30 seconds from the throw in. The game was turned on its head in a five minute spell at the start of the second half of extra time. Donaghmoyne sub Darren Mc Elroy who had only entered the fray in the closing minutes of the first half of extra time scored a peach of a goal within 30 seconds of the throw in. Points then followed from Frank Markey, David Garland and Ronan Mc Donald to put Donaghmoyne 5 ahead. However Bredagh upped the anti with points coming from Alan Davidson and Donal Hughes.
