U-6 /U-8 and U-10s.
Last week we had a small blitz in St Marys Park Blayney for this group of young hurlers against East Cavan Gaels and Clontibret . Would like to thank the Faughs for there help in organising the blitz . This finishes the U-6 and U-8 Hurling for the year and we will be in touch early in the new year. The U-10s travel to Derrynoose this Sunday to take part in the prestigious Gary Mc Naughton and Damian Mc Kearney 9 a side Hurling tournament were they will be playing clubs from Armagh , Tyrone , Down and Monaghan . Players are asked to meet in Super Valu car park @ 9-15am on Sunday morning
U-16 This squad has great potential to win this championship, they do however need coaching and training. The season will soon be over so this competition will likely be finished in the next three to four weeks. I ask you to please encourage the
U16’s have training on Our Lady’s astro Turf every Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm.
There will be a U-16 hurling championship Semi-final coming up at 12 noon on Saturday 8th October 16 and we are away to Monaghan Harps.
Winners play Carrickmacross/Inniskeen in the final on 15th Oct 16.
