Castleblayney Faughs Club Notes, 27th September 2016
Senior Men: The Senior Team had a disappointing performance last Sunday morning when they went down to a hungrier Latton, the home team got out of the traps early and led by six points to one at half time, Latton got the first goal of the game shortly after the break to open up a nine point gap before the Faughs responded with a goal of their own from Martin Mc Elroy to make the contest interesting but unfortunately Latton picked up the pace and found the net to kill off the game. Aidan McElroy responded with a late goal. Final Score Latton 2-10 Faughs 2-5.Our next outing is away to Clontibret on Sunday 9th of October with a 12.30pm throw in.
