Senior Men: The Senior team secured two more valuable points last Saturday afternoon when they took on Truagh in St.Marys Park. Truagh started the brighter and lead by six points at the break, with three changes at half time the lads started the second half strongly with Ciaran Hanratty scoring a quick 1-1 followed by another point a piece from each of the Dermot McArdle and Malone to put the Faughs three in front, a lead which they maintained until the final whistle. The result see us now move into second place in the league table, we now play our neighbours Doohamlet this Saturday in St Marys Park at 3.30pm.
Senior Ladies: We have no confirmed fixtures for the Senior Ladies at present so keep an eye on social media for any updates.
Operation TransFAUGHSmation: The programme has got off to a great start, with Tuesday nights class packed and boot camp proving a great success despite the poor weather. Sunday morning 7k walk around Mullyash a big hit with everyone. Classes continue this week on Tuesday, Friday and again on Sunday morning.
50/50: Last weeks winner of the 50/50 Draw Jackpot was Kerryanne Grimley. Kerryanne €140. Draw tickets are on sale in McMahons Supervalu at weekends and in local pubs.
Under 11 Boys: The Boys travel to Emyvale this Saturday to take part in the BC Tournament. This will be made up of boys who will play on the Under 12 team for next season; coaches will be in contact with parents during the week
Under 12 Girls: The Girls have now qualified for the Semi Final of Division One; they play away to Emyvale this Sunday with a throw in time of 5.30pm. Best of Luck Girls.
Boys Under 16: The lads take on Aughnamullen this Saturday in Oram at 1pm in the Division 1 league final, to date there have been two very entertaining league matches with Aughnamullen winning in St Marys Park while the return fixture ended in an exciting draw. There won’t be much between these two teams, hopefully the Green and Gold can emerge victorious at the final whistle.
Girls Minor: We have no confirmed fixtures for the Minor Girls at present so keep an eye on social media for any updates.
