Junior League: Blackhill defeated Éire Óg on Sunday morning last on a score line of Éire Óg 2-08 Blackhill 2-12. No match this weekend. Next fixture is at home to Séan Mc Dermotts on Saturday the 10th at 6pm.
Juveniles: Under 8s took part in a blitz hosted by Ballybay last Saturday. NOTE training this Saturday is changed to the earlier time of 10am to avoid clashing with Under 12 finals.
Help Needed: Five Under 12 finals take place in Blackhill on Saturday next the 3rd of September. Stewards are asked to report for duty not later than 11am. Then on Sunday the 4th, we host the Intermediate Championship game between Inniskeen and Tyholland with a 6pm throw in, stewards are asked to be at the field for 5pm. Thanks in advance.
Breakfast Morning: Our social centre plays host to a charity fundraising event which will take place this Sunday, 4th Sept. The Border Counties Vintage Grassmen are organising a Breakfast Morning which kicks off at 9am and will run until 1:30pm. It is in aid of local cancer societies. A worthy cause indeed.
