SENIORS: Our seniors played at home against Tyholland on Sunday last coming out top winners on a score line of Aughnamullen (2-14) To Tyholland (1-13). Next league game is on Sunday the 23rd of October at home against Emyvale at 1:30pm.
Training continues as usual. Everyone are requested to attend.
RFL. DIVISION 1B FINAL:
RESERVES: Hard luck is extended to the Reserve team who were beaten in the league final on Friday night last. With most of the scoring done in the 1st half both teams put up a good fight with James Keenan & Paul Connolly in mid field showed their strong side when getting the ball and sending it into the forwards Damien Duffy & Mark Mc Ardle getting the scores in well aided by Brendan Finnigan Colin Clerkin, but Donaghmoyne took a 6 point lead at half time. Despite great efforts made from the forwards with a second goal from Damien Duffy & cousins Kevin & Patrick Sheridan showing their strong side. Aughnamullen faught hard to keep up in the game. Our backs Dinny Hamilton, Stiven Ward, Alan Sheridan Colin Fox & the speedy Shane Lambe tried to keep Donaghmoyne out, but Donaghmoyne proved to be the stronger team on the night with Aughnamullen struggling to keep in the game it just was not to be when the final whistle was gone with a final score of Aughnamullen (2-11) To Donaghmoyne (2-17). A big thank you to The team Captain Dinny Hamilton his team mates and Managers Thomas Hughes & Stephen Hamilton who put in a lot of time and hard work during the year.

These great bunch of lads showed their strength and determation to win the Cup on Saturday last against Drumhowan. All roads lead to Doohamlet along with the team and their team Captain Sean Hamill,Team managers Dermie, Jake, Frank & Sean not to mention the great lady her self Philomena our 1st aider always there for them.They worked hard all year and never lost a league game as this was a well earned win. Getting off to a great start they never let up keeping them selves ahead throughout the game. From our great goaldie Luke Murtagh keeping the ball out from the goal line. well aided by his backs Liam Duffy, Gavin Bannigan, Thomas Hamill & Shay Duffy. all covered well around the field Jason Duffy & Sean Hamill let their presents be known with Jason Getting the 1st goal of the game. Sean Hamill also getting a point. Barry Duffy showed his side getting a point early in the game and when giving in some great passes to the mighty Martin Sheridan & Thristan Keenan getting more balls over the bar and finishing the 1st half of the game with a 2 point lead. Aughnamullen continued to show their strength with Conor Boyle getting a great goal. Drumhowan got 3 points in a row where strugling to keep up. Aughnamullen followed by 2 more goals from Thristan Keenan. Our subs came on David Sheridan for Barry Duffy, Killian Carragher for Conor Boyle & Ryan Hamilton for Martin Sheridan. These boys showed their skill also. finishing the game on a final score of Aughnamullen (4-9) To Drumhowan (0-12). U12’s Our U12 boys where invited to Cremartin on Sunday last to play in a Competition. They came runners up in the cup final in the tournament. We beat Donaghmoyne in the semifinal and was beaten by Cremartin in the final. A great day was had by all. Thank you to Cremartin for inviting us down.
U10’s Blitz on Saturday morning last in Corduff was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
U8’s: These young lads played Killeven on Saturday morning last in Killeven They played extremely well in terrible conditions Despite the very bad weather these lads showed their skill and strength on the day.
U10, U8’s Girls: Due to the bad weather there was no training on Saturday last. Training will continue on Saturday morning at 9:30am as usual.
U6’s U4’s: Training will continue this Saturday morning as usual. Starting at 9:30am.
