McElvaney Waste & Recycling Intermediate Football Championship Round 1A Replay

Currin 1-12 Cremartin 0-11

A dominant spell in the second half saw Currin win their IFC first-round replay against Cremartin in Smithborough . A second bout of extra-time between these teams looked possible for long spells of this game, as they were never separated by more than two points in the first half and they were level four times between the 20th and 35th minutes. Currin then took over, however, with an unanswered 1-3 seeing them through. Full-forwards Stephen Smyth and Niall McEntee accounted for nine points of Currin’s total in the ongoing absence of the injured Jack McCarron.
