Silver Hill Foods Senior Hurling Championship Final
Inniskeen 5-14 Monaghan Harps 1-6
Inniskeen won their third SHC title with a convincing defeat of Monaghan Harps in the final at Clontibret on Sunday. The Harps were competitive in the opening quarter, at the end of which Inniskeen led by three points, but the Grattans ruthlessly put the game away in the closing minutes of the first half. Tadhg Campbell netted twice, while Ronan Meegan continued his prolific form. Campbell completed his hat-trick within a minute of the restart and although Robbie Healy netted at the other end, the Harps’ only point-scorer was Cathal Power. A second goal from Man of the Match Ronan Meegan sealed Inniskeen’s third championship success since 2010.
