Junior Championship: Blackhill met Drumhowan in the Quarter Final stage last Sunday afternoon in Clontibret. A frenetic start saw Drumhowan score first before Blackhill found their rhythm to push ahead with some well taken scores and a goal from Darren Woods. Drumhowan pegged that lead back with a well taken goal of their own to leave it Blackhill 1-6 Drumhowan 1-5 at the break. The 2nd half saw no let up in the intensity levels. Blackhill converting their chances better to give them a 6 point lead entering the closing stages. However a Drumhowan goal left a tense finish but Blackhill stood firm to book their Semi Final place which will be played on the 25thSeptember. Final Score Drumhowan 2-8 Blackhill 1-14.
Junior League: Blackhill host Toome on Sunday, 21st Aug, at 12:30pm.
