Thank you to all club members who gave up their free time on Saturday morning to help in the annual “Big Clean Up”. Again this year there was a great turn out resulting in a major amount of work been completed on the day. It was great to see so many about and thank you all again.

Best wishes to all our leaving certificate students who received their results yesterday. We hope that you all secured the results that will allow you to proceed down your desired path. And if you didn’t keep the faith as there’s more than one way to skin a cat.

Volunteers wanted: If you feel you could spare an hour of your time on a Tuesday evening the bingo committee are looking people to help them run this much needed money raiser for the club during the summer months. If you think this is something that is off interest to you and you’d like more info please do not hesitate to contact either Gerry West, Paddy Kerr or an any committee member.

Bingo: Just a quick note to remind everyone that the club’s weekly Bingo takes place every Tuesday night at 9pm in the clubhouse. The bingo is a great opportunity for the community to come together midweek and have a good night while maybe even winning a few bob. This is a fundamental part of the club’s fund raising for day-to-day costs and we would all really appreciate if you, your friends or your family could support this if you can at all. And, don’t

forget, there is transport available to the centre. Every week, our volunteers go to great efforts to keep this going so that all of the other voluntary members of the club have a good starting platform. Hope to see some new faces tomorrow night and over the coming weeks.

The next committee meeting takes place on Tuesday the 6th of September, at 9pm. Please make a special effort to attend.

If you would like to get items into the club notes please contact Niall Duffy by 8pm on Monday evening and he’ll gladly include.
