U12 Croke Park GoGames Activity Day 2016

By poconnor Tue 19th Jul

In association with the National Coaching and Games Development and the Ulster Coaching and Games Development Committee an Activity Day for players who are 12 years of age (born 2004) has being organised for Monaghan and three (3) other counties from Ulster on Monday 15th August 2016 from 9:30 to 11:00 am in Croke Park. The purpose of the initiative is to give our young players an opportunity to play our national games at GAA headquarters.

The 30 football clubs will get the opportunity to send two players each, making up a panel of 60 players to be divided into 6 teams. The 6 hurling clubs are asked to send 5 players each making up a panel of 30 players divided into 3 teams. In total we will have 90 players from Monaghan representing their clubs on the day.

Clubs are free to use whatever selection method they want to choose their players who will represent them in Croke Park. We are just asking that all consent forms from the players selected are with Patrick McCarron on or before Tuesday 2nd August 2016. If clubs fail to meet this deadline their places will be offered to another club chosen by lottery.

All relevant information and consent forms should be with all the clubs Coaching Officers already. It is important ALL information is filled out including parents names and phone numbers.

Once we have all relevant information from the clubs we will pass further details about the day to the players and their parents.
