Reserves
Cill Eanna 5g 15p
Truagh 1g 9p
We had a comfortable win over the visiting Truagh team on Sunday last which now leaves us in the semi final of the reserve league.  A great team performance with eight different players getting on the scoreboard

Minor Championship
Clones 2g 8p
Cill Eanna 3g 15p
A great away win in the minor championship against Clones last week

UNDER 16’S:  It was an evening of mixed fortunes in Emyvale last Thursday  for the team. The lads put the disappointment of the Championship defeat the previous week behind them and were much more determined and hardworking outfit  this week. From the whistle blew, the lads were up for the challenge  ahead and worked together as a unit . They  got a number of good scores including three goals form Conor Callaghan, Dwyne Markey and Sean Finn. There were only two points in it at half time and while Killanny extended their lead  to seven points  in the second half Emyvale didn’t give up. This resulted in a very tight finish with Killanny just hanging on to secure victory on a scoreline of 3-12 to 3-10. Aodhan Mc Connon who had been having a very good game sustained a broken arm in the second half . We wish him a speedy recovery and would to thank both his coaches and the Emyvale coaches and supporters for their help on the day and the days that followed. The team is now joint third in the league and their next match is a home fixture against Latton on Thursday
21st at 7.30pm. Please come and support this young team.

Gaeil Triúcha Annual U10 Blitz – Truagh, Co. Monaghan

Our under 10 squad had a very enjoyable day out at the Gaeil Triúcha Blitz on Saturday last 16th July and although they didn’t make it to the knock out stages they had three exciting games.
We had Padhraic Corrigan in nets who did brilliantly, with Tomas Quinn, Michelle Hughes, Daniel Kelly, Oisin Gartlan and Calum Gaul in the backs, Conor Burns & Daniel Breen at midfield and then Alannah McGahon, Emma Walsh, Rhianna Hand, Oran Connolly, James Callan, Joseph Rutlidge, Ronan Goodman and Jake Finnegan in the forwards.
We lost our first game, were beaten narrowly by the favourites in the 2nd and then won our 3rd game. Special mention to the 4 girls for their solid performances and to the rest of the lads who kept trying hard to better themselves.

Thank you to Gaeíl Triúcha CLG for the invite to a well organised and run event.
U12’s
The U12’s made the long journey to Scotstown on Wednesday evening past. Despite missing a number of regulars both teams battled bravely but just came up short. The lads should be very proud of their efforts as the teams we are competing with have much greater resources in terms of playing numbers.

Cul Camp

This week the club host the Cul Camp and early reports suggest that this year will be the largest to date. We hope that everybody enjoys the week.
