CLUB RESULTS
SENIORS
Magheracloone hosted our near neighbours Carrickmacross on Sunday afternoon, in which can only be described as perfect conditions for a game. It was always going to be a thrilling game and you would expect nothing less  from these two teams. As the temperature rose so did the atmosphere in Kevin O’ Reilly park. Magheracloone came out of the blocks at ferocious speed and took the game by the scruff of the neck and had 5 points registered before the Emmets scored their first point. The scoring threat from Carrick was never far away and when the Emmets went one to one with goalkeeper David Kirk he pulled off one of his many magnificent saves of the day and spurred Magheracloone on to victory. Some outstanding passage of play from Killian Rudden and John McMahon led to some fantastic scores from Allan Kieran, Tommy Freeman and Micheal Metzger. Magheracloone withheld the onslaught of Carrick in the second half as both our midfield players Jamie Kieran and Gavin Doogan held strong with Jamie giving an exhibition in high fielding. The Mitchells came out deserved winners on a score line of Magheracloone 1-18 to Carrickmacross 1-10. Team: David Kirk, Paul McArdle, Pete Ward, James Lambe, John McMahon, James Ward, Peter Tuite(0-2), Jamie Kieran(0-1), Paudie Finnegan, Gavin Doogan(0-1), Killian Rudden(0-1), Allan Kieran(0-4), Micheal Metzger(1-2) and Tommy Freeman( 0-7). Subs: Paudie Kirk for Alan McCahey, Johnny Coleman for Allan Kieran and David Freeman for Tommy Freeman. We would like to wish Allan Kieran the very best of luck in his Leaving Cert.
RESERVES
The reserves travelled to Scotstown on Wednesday evening in the hope of gaining a further two points but were beating by a hungrier Scotstown team. Final score Magheracloone 2-5 Scotstown 4-19.
U16’S
Truagh was the venue for the U16’S this week as they continue their wining streak. Magheracloone built up an early lead (HT Magheracloone 4-12 Truagh 1-3) that continued for the entire game. Well done to the lads it was a highly entertaining game with some fine scores from both sides. Final score Magheracloone 8-16 Truagh 5-7. Team Eoghan Rooney, Daniel McConnon, Jack Doogan, Matthew Kieran, David Martin, Shane Burns, Ryan Farrelly, Jonathon Donnelly(0-1), Conor McKeown(1-3), Cieran McMahon(0-1), Ryan McNulty(2-4), Gary Marron, Dylan McCahey(1-1), Ronan McKeown(2-5) and David McArdle(1-1). Subs Joe Kirk for David Martin, Kyle Matthews for David McArdle and Jack McNulty(1-0) for Cieran McMahon. This was the last game until after the Junior Cert wishing Daniel McConnon, Matthew Kieran, Shane Burns, Jonathon Donnelly, Mogie, Cieran McMahon, Ryan McNulty and Ronan McKeown the very best in their exams.

Our U12 team took on Clones at home on Wednesday evening after a close first half, Clones stormed ahead in the second ending in a score line of Magheracloone 1-6 Clones 5-16.
