It’s an excellent read and I would recommend it. Its available from all the usual outlets.

U16: We played Carrick in Páirc Grattan last Thursday evening. They roared into a commanding lead in the first half and held a 6-point lead at halftime playing very well. Then in the second half with some injuries, they run out of steam and the game finished in a draw. The equaliser coming from the last kick of the game. Final score Inniskeen 3-13 Carrick 2-16. Training with the minors Tuesday evening. We wish Conor Downey all the best after his operation last week and hope to see him back on the pitch in the near future

Inniskeen Camogie Notes:

Seniors: Hard luck to the Senior team who were beaten by Castleblayney last Thursday evening in Grattan Park. However, it was heartening to see a great turnout of players with some great performances from our younger Camogs including Michaela Byrne, Niamh Jones, Cathy Deery, Sarah Deery and Alison Finnegan. The girls are away to Cooley this Thursday evening in the Louth League and let’s hope the teams gets back to winning ways.

Juvenile Training: Training continues every Tuesday evening at the slightly earlier time of 7.00pm (not 7.15pm). We had a great turn out of Mums (and Dads) at the Mum & Me Programme last Tuesday. This is a fun 6 week course for parents outlining the basic skills of Camogie and is being run

by Ulster Regional Hurling Development Officer and local man Pauric Dowdall. It takes place at the same time as the juveniles are training from 7.00pm – 8.00pm.

All parents are welcome to join at any stage over the 6 weeks.
