U-12’s

Had an excellent win over Truagh on Saturday last on a scoreline of 4-7 to 1-6. This is a very competitive division with 2 points seperating 1st and 5th. The lads have been acquitting themselves very well and hopefully they continued this on Wednesday evening when they took on Tyholland in Clones on Wednesday night.

U-14’s

Lost out narrowly to Patrick Emmetts in Clones on Tuesday night in a cracker of a match that finished on a scoreline of 6-15 to 5-13. Also lost to a very strong Aughnamullan team on Thursday night. The lads have a break now and will not be out again until the 2nd of July when they will face Drumhowan in Clones.

Junior B’s

Played this Wednesday evening against Monaghan Harps in Clones. Hopefully the lads continued their recent form and got a win.

Seniors

Played Blackhill this Friday evening last in Blackhill in the Eurotech Junior Football League. On a very wet night that made playing conditions extremley difficult both teams served up an extremely entertaining game of football. Clones started the game very well with a goal from Colm Connolly opening the scoring. Clones had registered 1-4 by the time Blackhill got on the scoresheet. Clones eventually going in at the break 1-5 to 0-4 up. A goal at the beginning of the second half from Blackhill brought them back into the contest and from there oppurtunities and space were extremley hard to come by and the game eventually finished a draw on a scoreline of 1-8 to 1-8. There was a hard earned point and we now look forward to our next league game versus Sean McDermotts in Clones on the 26th of June.

Please make an effort to support all our teams.

Annual Bake Sale

The annual bake sale in aid of our underage teams was held last Sunday the 12th of June as part of the Festival weekend. A great array of cakes and Buns were available and was a great success. Thank you to all who supported the bake sale and to those who organised and baked thank you so much for your efforts.

Tyrone V Cavan

Another Sunday another big match in St Tiernachs Park. The club wishes to ask anyone who is available for Stewarding to please let any member of the executive know. Also we need programme and ice cream sellers. You must be 16 to sell Programmes and Ice creams. These are great jobs for making a few euro on your summer holidays so please let an executive member know if your available on the day.

U-8 & U-10’s

Will be training on Wednesday nights from 6-7pm in the Peace Link. All are welcome.
