U-14.
We had an interesting challenge match Monday with Naomh Moininne . A mixed bag really with various players showing glimpses of their ability at different stages. Pick of the players in the first half were Conor,Jason Campbell , Thomas Keenan and Thomas Hughes. In the second half with the team reshuffled Ryan,Caleb , Senan Leo Joe, and Paudie came more into the game. We had a number of players attending to their studies and so unavailable . Cramming doesn’t work boys , but hope Killian Conall and Mikeys burning of the midnight oil paid dividends!!
A huge thank you to all who worked so hard to make our coffee morning a great success. Mother Nature provided the sunshine and all our other mothers took care of the baking and tea and coffee making. The support from the people who came along on the day was brilliant. We were absolutely overwhelmed by two offers we received to sponsor a set of jerseys and a set of bags for the team . Thanks to Fr Pat for giving the event a good plug from the altar too as well as showing his support. As the countdown to Feile begins we are delighted to have received such support from the people of Blayney and well beyond . Thanks to Aiden Morgan who coaches the county u14 squad for making the effort to attend. So the finances are in place for a great weekend lets hope the displays on field match live up to expectations.
